So there are many of you who loyally watch these shows and, like me, make continual comments to the television whether anyone else is in the room or not. Alternately, there are many of you who do not have the time to keep up with reality TV – there are too many shows, your tivos runneth over, you have kids and can’t remember what it’s like to watch anything beyond Dora the Explorer (you know who you are) – but you also want to be “in the know.” That’s fine. Let me help you understand.

The Voice: Starting With The Man In The Mirror

On tonight’s elimination episode of The Voice two people will be sent packing. After some stellar performances last night and some not so stellar performances by some audience favorites from the audition rounds, it seems no one is safe. Let’s not waste any time with the filler. Here are results:
Caroline and Matthew are announced “safe” first, leaving commercial breaks and video montages before Austin and Tessanne join them. Excruciating commercial breaks and twitter talk ensue, and then we find out that Jacquie, Cole and Will have made it into the Top 10.
At the 45 minute mark, five contestants still await their fate. To everyone’s surprise (including Ray’s), Ray is safe! James joins him and we are down to Kat, Jonny and Josh. I swear if Kat goes home I’m going to be very angry….and she already seems angry so chances are she will burn the place down. Just sayin. To my relief though, she moves on to next week, leaving Jonny and Josh as the eliminated two. I wasn’t 100% connected to either of them, so I wish them the best and move on.

Next week the Top 10 take the stage again to compete for America’s votes. With Team Xtina and Team CeeLo both down a player, they have some fighting to do to avoid total elimination next week. Will the teams even out? Will Adam and Blake lose a contestant instead? We’ll find out soon. Til then!
