So there are many of you who loyally watch these shows and, like me, make continual comments to the television whether anyone else is in the room or not. Alternately, there are many of you who do not have the time to keep up with reality TV – there are too many shows, your tivos runneth over, you have kids and can’t remember what it’s like to watch anything beyond Dora the Explorer (you know who you are) – but you also want to be “in the know.” That’s fine. Let me help you understand.

The Voice Results: America Was Half Right

The top 12 contestants on The Voice will be whittled down to 10 during this week’s results show, with the coaches having no control over the final results.  The eliminated contestants tonight can be from any team, and when Carson reveals the results, the contestants are declared safe in this order:
1.       Bryan Keith (Team Adam)
2.       Sylvia Yacoub (Team Xtina)
3.       Nicholas David (Team Cee-Lo)
4.       Dez Duron (Team Xtina)
5.       Cassadee Pope (Team Blake)
6.       Trevin Hunte (Team Cee-Lo)
7.       Terry McDermott (Team Blake)
8.       Amanda Brown (Team Adam)
9.       Cody Belew (Team Cee-Lo)
10.   Melanie Martinez (Team Adam)
This leaves Adriana Louise and Michaela Paige packing their bags. I was never a huge fan of Adriana, but and I have to say that I am disappointed Michaela is heading home. I think she had far more potential than several of the remaining contestants. Team Blake and Team Xtina are now down to two contestants each, while Team Adam and Team Cee-Lo have three remaining. They will square off again next week – til then!
